@hyptalk Wow, I never thought that I could initialize such a discussion with a simple comment. I'm glad that you understood it better than the guy below what I wanted to say. I don't represent Germany here, I represent my and only my personal opinion. I would never have the heart to judge someone for something he or she can or could not influence, like his gender, nationality or accent. I just wanted to say that in my ears the american accent does not sound that nice. That's it!

@Asiate Krass, dass nach so langer Zeit immer noch Leute auf meine damaligen Kommentare antworten. Ich gebe ja gerne zu, dass Englisch nicht meine größte Stärke ist, aber ich habe mich immerhin auch ohne Wörterbuch gut verständlich machen können. Wenn du es soviel besser kannst, dass du dir zutraust meine Schreibweise als "typisch nervig deutsch" abzuurteilen, finde ich es ziemlich armselig von dir jemanden zu kritisieren, der es wie ich schlechter kann.

@SpreadingTruths I wouldn't go around making this kind of generalization ... yours is no more correct than what the guy said about my accent. You may find that to be true for you, but it's not true for everyone. It's certainly not true for me. My father was a German and he wasn't rude.

That is your opinion, I fully accept and respect it. It's different from mine, but that's completely ok. It would be so boring if everyone thinks the same way. But it would interest me if you're grown in the US, that means with the american accent around you. And are you familiar with the german and the french accent? Do you speak one of this languages?
