there can be someone sitting behind it and turning the gear that opens it because i dont hear a motor

If you think that's stop motion, your stupid. Its obviously not, its either a motorized or a rewindable motor that allows it to do that.

Put a motor inside.
Slow it down with a worm-gear.
Connect it to the axle for opening it.
