I actually own a copy of American Splendor, the movie based on his life and I cant recall any mention of his musical talents. (of course my memory isnt worth crap these days so I might be wrong) I also saw him featured in the documentary film "Curmudgeon" a couple years ago...

@TheBlueRose2008 I loved Curmudgeon, mostly because I sort of am one. But you know what, I just looked up the review and realized I have Crumb mixed up with Harvey Pekar! Funny that their cartoon styles are very similar, I guess thats what tricked me. Anyways, so I guess there is no link here that you would be interested in.  I would love to have a copy of that doc to show some other friends but its a bit of a rarity, cant seem to find more than a short clip of it on the net.

@RedroomStudios Add: Duh, I AM familiar with Harvey Pekar- he and RC have similar styles, don't they. I fact a lot of my underground comix anthologies have his work in it.

@RedroomStudios This is really late, but after collecting most of Crumb's works over the last 8/9 months, I learned that Harvey and Robert's collabs worked like this--Harvey wrote and Crumb drew for him. That's why I got it all frigged up. ^^

I'm busy, too, lots more traveling, redid the kitchen...No bare skin, but the last vid filmed a bit when I was goofing around after my walk.It was chopped out. I dropped 15 pounds this summer and my supplies have rather depleted...Besides you have the real deal to look at ;-)
