I'm about to buy my dad's 1999 Camry XLE off of him and I plan on doing a few things to improve it. anyone have any tips?

@nhsbballar can you please explain to me your point from writing down (plan on keeping your car for a few years) ?? i didn't got your point from it
as i do have Camry 99 and planing as well to install Air Intake .. but i'm afraid the the air intake take more dust/sands with it when you push more benzene/petrol and when it gets to have more dusts it will make the dust to be transferred to inside your engine and that will lead immediately to engine failure .. i've living in hot country UAE

@bryanbryan122
I did feel a difference with the intake. I drove my camry to dallas and got 33 mpg on the highway! My gas mileage improved as well as the horsepower. (But I also have a magnaflow exhaust). its a good investment if you have the cash and plan on keeping your car for a few years.

It was easy. Just need to take the stock intake out and connect the tubes on the Injen intake. Your camry might idle a lil after so dont worry about that. It will go away.
