  • Yes i agree with brendanryan0510.. Im a captain and i dont even run the Q inless there's traffic. Have respect for the people that are sleeping.. But then again sometimes i do understand that you have too get for a call in the middle of night but you only need a siren when your coming on intersections and traffic around you..

  • we run blue, and ems runs blue white.

  • @21usamp Is that why you can get a ticket for "failure to yeild to an emergency vehicle"? LOL

  • @amblefire no they cant. the use of lights and siren is only requesting premisson for the right of way.

  • Nicely done bro and not a bad choice in music. You running reds or blues or a mix?

  • @mattkrembs Hey, I know it's been awhile, but if your offer to run with your crew remains standing, I'm ready to accept it when you're ready to either help me with a bus or plane ticket. I run with the Lake Desolation Volunteer Fire Company in upstate New York. If I take you up on the offer, may I wear my Lake Desolation Fire Company colors? Let me know.

  • @jamie381 oh we dont have pov vehicles here in the uk

  • @radiosification He is POV.. most states, cities and/or stations state that a pov does not assume automatic right of way, have same rights as code 3 emergency vehicle. thus he's doing nothing more then asking for those rights by other motorists he can't drive like them. Thus he legally can't even break the speed limit.

  • @radiosification I've had people outrun me before, he's just being very careful, because like I said, if he hits someone he has to stay there and wait for valuable resources that may be needed for that call to come back and help him. it's better to take 5 minutes to get there then to never get there at all!

  • @jamie381 here in england the emergency vehicles all drive much faster than that

  • @jamie381 yeah good point but this seems almost slower than the traffic

  • i am a firefighter not far from you...stay safe, good video.
