MMA fighter gets pissed at reporter during press conference

At the post-fight press conference of Bellator 44, a reporter from Sherdog.com asked Middleweight champion Hector Lombard about his performance in the fight with Falaniko Vitale which garnered many boo's from the live audience, despite ending in a huge knockout. Lombard dismissed the question and was unhappy even answering it. Towards the end of the press conference, the same reporter asked a question to Alexander Schlemenko about a rematch with Lombard, which made the champion grow angrier to the point that he grabbed the mic and addressed the reporter directly. It almost seemed like we would have a bonus fight with Lombard VS a reporter, but cooler heads prevailed. Needless to say, this journalist did not ask Lombard for an interview after the event.

I agree. Hector is a beast. He also acts like one while being interviewed.If he doesn´t like the spotlight maybe he should find another profession, like waiting tables or cleaning toilettes. Because the media ensure the fans, so it´s like biting off the hand feeding him in a way. Without tv and internet reporting he would be unknown. So Hector should get his act together and start acting like he has 46 chromosomes.unlike the 48 he´s showing now.

I think Lombard thinks very highly of himself and doesn't like to be criticized by people who cannot relate to him (such as an mma reporter). I'm sure he trains hard every day of his life just so he can make a living, and when some reporter or fan starts criticizing your performances, it's hard not to take it personally. Hector is a beast and deserves to fight the best.
