@woodros I hear what you're saying. It's certainly nowhere near her best performance but she was a "warts and all" kind of girl and her shows reflected that, but to say "she was shite all along" is plain wrong.
I suppose you were entering into a kind of lottery when you went to see her play Live. Would she be too pissed to sing etc? but she always drew a massive crowd such was her magnetism.
It's a damn shame she died. Her next album was probably going to be incredible, more mature.

She would stop her band dead if she missed her cue and if my memory serves me correctly, she even did it during a televised award performance. You could call that unprofessionalism but at the same time, her song writing skills were amongst the best.

@woodros I disagree. I think her talent was unsurpassed by any other living artist today. There are plenty of good singers and songwriters but this girl sang from the heart in a way that made me listen....and she meant every single word.
I'd much rather someone display the reality of their life rather than hide behind a facade. We're shown far too many fake faces as it is. You can't have beauty without its opposite and both sides are in everyone, whether we like it or not.
Her story is the best antidrug campaign on the world.
