If a zipper comes separated, use scissors to clip above the missing tooth so that the zipper pull can be placed back on the zipper. Make sure a zipper pull is going in the right direction when fixing a separated zipper with help from a seamstress and tailor in this free video on clothing alterations and repairs.

  • I used the scissor method and it worked quickly and easily! I sewed some zipper teeth slightly ahead of the scissor cut to prevent the zipper from getting undone. Great video!

  • after an hour trying to fix my zipper, i did a google search. this was the first video i found. i tryed the siscor method and it took a grand total of 5 seconds to fix... no exageration. thank you so much for this video as i was 5 seconds away from throwing away a perfect pair of $50 jeans!
