I am with you man!!!!! I've been trying to explain this to people. They think that once they get a twitter, their company will magically bring them sales! haha.

Having a "real" brick and mortar is a great amount of work. I am making a few bucks on eBay, Amazon and Alibris but it's not much compared to the storefront business that I closed. What I do not miss is the constant stress of running a storefront business. Frankly, I would rather make less money and have more peace of mind than make more money and risk having a stroke from being over stressed, especially in this economy! P.S. Thanks for the Website advise video. The advise is worth trying.

@oakbooks I'm seeing more people diverse between birck and motor, website, ebay, Amazon. For example, when I buy some supplement form someone on Amazon when I Google his name I'll find him on ebay, his website, and a physical store.
As long as someone can build and manage a team of people to run all these it seems to be very profitable for those that have mastered it. Great way to diversity in todays selling platforms.

Good Luck on not going back to the sandwich shop yourself. You had something going on the old channel, not sure how this one will top it, but oh well.

@newobtterb You are not seeing the big picture guy. The RC stuff was business stuff from start to finish.

Anyone who has tried social media will quickly learn exactly what you are saying - it is no magic bullet.

@buildafoamie Yes, the issues these days are now "too much info, options, and opportunities" rather than not enough. A solid business plan is not more important than ever. Alot of great ideas become obsolete overnight.
