The Puddle City set that fortuitously got videotaped at Frankenstein's Tavern one night in 1971 started off with Rawhide, an instrumental from the Father of Bluegrass music, Bill Monroe. Rawhide is one of those tunes that, to paraphrase Yogi Berra, nobody plays anymore. It's too common. So, of course, Puddle City had to change something to make it less common -- can you tell what?
The band members are (left to right) Peter Langston / Mandolin, Chris Montague / Banjo, Sharyle Patton / Bass, & Greg Booth / Guitar.
