@miumiu116 I had a rabbit that only pooped in his cage.... he was a smart rabbit, but he ripped some of the wall paper next to his cage..and chewed on the start and select button on my gameboy color, and my moms hair when he got on the couch....oh i miss him so ): , the best thing was that he sat in his food bowl and looked like a cupcake.

@miumiu116 he's litter trained... has been since he was really young. He's got the run of the whole back garden though now with my other rabbit, but they still both go in the same place even out there! :)
Rabbits are clean animals... they won't poop where they eat, but they can be litter trained (even if they're not young)

do he poop in the same place? cuz mine poop everywhere >"<
How did you litter train your bunny?

@SarahEnriquez Is your rabbit a house rabbit, or does it live in the garden with a run? If you tell me this, I can help a bit better... :)

@sheepsaybaaa Oh, sorry. we don't have a rabbit yet now but planning on getting one. (and I want a house rabbit) We had a house rabbits when I was a kid but I don't remember them being litter trained. They just pee and poop wherever and mom cleans it up haha. So I was wondering if I could litter train when I get one from the pet store, that would be super awesome! :) thanks

@SarahEnriquez Ah okies... well litter training house rabbits is a bit easier I think and doing it from as young as possible is also good. Buy a cat litter tray and some cat littler (wood based litter as this won't harm the rabbit). It can be a bit tedious to start with, but they pick it up in no time so be patient. put some cat litter in their hutch/cage where they go to the toilet (they tend to go in one place more often that not and away from their food)... make sure that [see next comment]

@SarahEnriquez (2) ...make sure that you don't move where you put the litter. If they poop somewhere else, scoop it up and put it on the litter. (you'll still need to clean it when it gets too much). If you keep trying to move the poop to the litter they start to associate it as the 'toilet'. Your pet store SHOULD reccomend that you don't get your rabbit out too much in first few weeks, this is beneficial to training too because it will only have to get used to one toilet area [see last comment]

@SarahEnriquez (3)...Once they've got used to the litter in the hutch and you have them out around the house... if you put down a litter tray with cat litter in it, they SHOULD go in the litter tray. If not, don't worry, they just need to get used to a new area. Just move the poop to the litter tray like you did before.
Hope this helps and good luck :) my rabbits both seemed to pick it up quick and always go in the litter now.
Let me know how you get on :)
