Yeah you know I would/could agree with you about how ugly this world is getting and we all deserve 2012... But instead of wishing upon death on people, wish upon the world would/will get better instead. It's a more positive thing to do, and not so negative.

I love this series of video. makes me proud to see that despite a racist government, the people went against their policy and welcomed these soldiers and we got to piss the white Americans off as well. That's always a good thing. Strange hypocricy though when you consider how we treated our own black population.

This is quite a sad ending , Im black (Ghanaian) and was born in Australia and live here and Australians are really accepting of cultures but every now and again you do get ignorant racist ..... I think if there is anything someone should get from this is that People are people

I noticed that the newsreel says that Japan surrendered to the US which if anyone has read the surrender is not correct they surrendered to the Allied Forces as a whole so Australia, Canada, France, The UK, The US and New Zealand all signed it.

"Prejudice" is a natural human trait, and isn't necessarily bad (expecting a red burner on a stove to be hot is a form of prejudice), but racism... well, that's just silly...

Sad indeed afro-american soldiers have given up so much and still caught hell coming home. No telling what couldve happened if Americans fought together instead of seperately.
