@bfdfireguy33 I am not a firefighter but my husband is a volunteer firefighter and he and his men do just as much as paid departments. In small towns that is all they have are volunteers to be there when they call for an emergency. I have respect for all firefighters paid or not. Volunteer or not you are all called from family, go on small amounts of sleep, witness grusume events at times and all of you risk your lives for people you don't know. You shouldn't degrade volunteeers b/c one day

To all those wives, and girlfriends,..We owe more than we can ever repay.. You wait for us through the unknown, you pray for us all the time, you listen to us tell you the same stories again and again, you roll over just a little more when we "dream" at night. You put up with us when we drink too much, get too quite around some and way to loud around others. You see us at our lows and highs, what you will never see, is what we see, and I thank God for that. Bless you bothers

Haters this is for you, You may be saying this now, but keep in mind, one day, you might just need us! We do what most people fear. We see what people have nightmares about! Tell me something, have you? ever tried to take vitals, and stuck your hand litterally inside someones neck because theyre head was gone? Have you ever had to pick people that shouldnt be dead out of a car, while trying to help those that should be dead? Have you ever saw what we have? I doubt it!

Great video! Im currently in highschool and also in emt class at the local college here in tulsa my father has been a firefighter for over 19 years i took my first steps in a station and this video really hits home here i am ready to fulfill my calling and help people to the best of my ability and i am honored to have the oppourtunities that i do!
