I was at this game and had a great view of this chance. It hit the post and came straight back out. Trust me on this one folks, I'm a hugh BB fan and thought he got one there.

Yeah I guess everyone was asleep at the switch : Toronto, the coach, Butler, announcers.
They always have access to the overhead camera after a play, but they decided to not look at it, since no one on the ice asked for a review.
It was a missed scored goal, but all ended well since the Senators won, but if they would have lost this would be a bigger deal believe me!

damn, if i'd seen your video first, I never would have posted mine! (given the obviously superior _quality_ of yours :)
In any event, it's nice to know that i'm not the ONLY one who witnessed this miscarriage of justice! Can things be rectified to GIVE Butler the goal/point now, or is it too late?

@GCRGenesis They absolutely did not look at the overhead. If it was not in then it had to be a bullet from post to post, and would have traveled in a straight line. The only way it could appear to follow the curve of the back of the net is if it went in an arc, so it would have had to be a floater, and even then it would have been a near impossibility for it to describe an arc that appeared to follow the back of the net so precisely.
Someone was asleep on the switch Toronto.

This video si extremly tough to judge from. I'm sure they took a quick look at the overhead camera during the play. At least I hope so.

@GCRGenesis I agree, I wish I had the equipment and different camera feeds that the Sens should, but even so, this looks like a goal.
