Jimi Hendrix was the first pop / rock star to receive a Blue Plaque which honours a famous person's residence. The English Hertiage Society award them to people who have achieved great things and are still remembered for their efforts after the person's death. A great recognition for Jimi - many famous faces in this clip!

  • The British are people who play the role of good-mannered fellows dedicating a plaque while ignoring the bloody travesty of covering-up the murder of the same person at the same time. Nothing but silence from the Brits, and plaques...

  • @Exiles800

Well you say the say the same about the Yanks and Lennon / MLK / Kennedy / LHO / - except they don't get a plaque and the CIA / FBI just hope the public will forget. I wouldn't point the finger at the Brits for a cover up - you should be pointing it at Mike Jeffery or Monika Danneman...

  • Good vid! I didn't realise the plaque had such a grand reception. Shame that Mitch and Noel are no longer with us, tho.

  • I'm surprised that Mitch didn't attend really. Fantastic reception. There's a clip of Cathy and Noel touring the inside of the flat and telling their stories that I'll have to put up...

  • @Exiles800 OK no handshake then, fair enough. I'm not sure exactly what you want me to do as I cannot see the 'provable evidence' you refer to. I cannot fault your passion or commitment to your beliefs I just don't agree. This will be my last post on this topic. I am sure you will reply though just for the sake of having the last word. So please be my guest, go ahead and prove me right on that one.

  • @Johntheresonator I'm sorry, but you can't plead honest intentions if you try to avoid provable evidence. I think it's obvious here that your intention is to reach an impasse and agree to not agree, however I feel the evidence doesn't allow you that privilege and anyone who was honestly seeking what happened to Hendrix would not allow themselves such and unjustifiable position. The evidence simply won't let you get away with that, and you'll probably see us prove that soon. Keep watching.

  • @Exiles800 It was not intended to be condescending & frivolous but I am not going to try and persuade you otherwise. What would be the point? The same goes for the main subject here. We are not going to change each other's position. I imagine you think I am closed-minded evidence denying idiot and I think you are a conspiracy theorising nut. Shake?

  • @Johntheresonator Thanks for your condescending frivolous overview posing as credible interest. The barbiturate issue is only "inconclusive" because the authorities who investigated it were in charge of the evidence and its processing. 1) Jeffery's confession fits the forensic evidence and the lies. 2) A credible investigation of the forensics would prove murder. That was conspicuously avoided by the British Inquest and subsequent petition to re-open the case. You're seeking excuses not answers

  • @Exiles800 Actually I knew of the allegations but read the article to jog my memory. The problem is that it still does not settle anything. A roadie coming forward decades later, talking about a confession by someone now dead (OK I know about the speculation Jeffries faked his death). The barbiturate issue is inconclusive. The author says "We may never know what the truth is but I surely wish people would let James Marshall Hendrix rest and simply listen to all of his wonderful music." I agree.

  • @Johntheresonator I don't think you are aware of our forensic arguments that prove Jimi had to be unconscious when the wine was poured into his lungs. Typically, you have already dismissed this case with trolling sass before even bothering to look at the facts. Jimi was on the FBI's list of the worst threats to the US gov't known as the "Security Index". Other people who were on that list also suffered strange fates. Your ignorant contempt does not answer for the lies about that morning.

  • @Exiles800 So, in your logic someone denying an accusation therefore proves it must be true? I sincerely hope you are not in the legal profession. You would have got on great when they used to burn witches. I don't claim to 'win the subject' but so far you have gone on about denying facts and evidence but you have not produced anything other than the same tired old CIA, MI5 British monarchy conspiracy stuff.

  • @Johntheresonator I think you are the one deluding himself that he hasn't just ran away from an argument he couldn't answer. It's amazing how many people run out the door shouting that they've won with this subject. Your problem isn't with me and my arguments but is instead with your denial of them. You prove the case in spades that the Brits almost universally represent the worst opponents of this subject right in the face of the facts in pure contempt.

  • @Exiles800 OK enough already I have read all your posts & I don't think I was in the presence of such delusion since my last discussion with a creationist. I think Jimi was a hugely creative soul who had lost his way & his creative edge towards the end, add the mixed up relationships, the hype & chaos & the drugs and you get a tragedy. But for you the CIA, MI5, even the British Monarchy seem culpable. I think I am going to leave you to lick at windows and bark at passing cars. I'm out of here!

  • @Johntheresonator It's in the forensics and an honest evaluation of the circumstantial evidence and lies. I believe Tappy would pass a lie detector test.
