I feel very sorry for you young girl. I hope you're life improves and that you are protected from the brutalities you've suffered. I wish you could come to the US and see how women are not treated that way and have all the same rights as men. It would be great for you to be sponsored to come here and get an education and make a decent quality life for yourself here. If any man did the things that you suffered he would be brutally beat by other men, arrested, prosecuted and put in jail.

why dont u say anything about other countries in 21 century which allow to have consensual sex at the age of 12?.in Philippines the consensual sex age is 12 , Vatican city 12, maxico 12 , Zimbabwe 12 ,japan 13,Argentina 13 ,Germany 14 ,in USA if the age difference is less than 4 years then the consensual age to have sex is 12 ?under the united nation convention under the age of 18 is considered a child.

I understand, it's difficult to try and explain small-minded people that it's not the norm to do things...I'm sure there is a lot of propaganda involved (though of course, it exists and is absolutely wrong) but maybe you can learn to be more compassionate - which should be the principle of all religions, really....hate can never be fought of with more hate....

@069220 Nah, it's because of people like you that the world hates them. And by spreading hate there probably won't be any improvements...I'm not religious and think that extremists are really narrow-minded and repellent people. However, you can't generalise it on their whole society...or country. Forget religion, countries, races, and all that if you see a problem like this! Just think of solutions to help.....just a though, you probably won't understand anyway though :)

Why don't they make a program about thousands of American women being abused and beaten up by their brutal husbands? Why don't they make a program about thousands of teenage girls being raped in US every week? I think that's far more important than making a program about a girl that apparently was forced to marry to a 60 year old man. As if you really care about the girl and the human rights in the country!

He might have married her to educate her or whatever the reason might be.Either way,nobody has anything to do with the reason for his marriage,but everything to do with his ACT of sex with her at such a young age.The ACT which is still being unchallenged because it is as per the precedent set by Islamic prophet.
