Maddow's Misguided Criticism of Detention

As you listen to Ms. Maddow's criticisms, keep in mind that military detentions are not holding someone because (s)he is a "culprit" or a "criminal." It has nothing to do with wrongdoing. Military detention involve holding someone who is recognized to be part of an organized military effort against one's own community. A community detains a combatant as part of its own attempt to succeed militarily. So it does not make sense to expect the community to prove "guilt" of anything. All the community needs to establish is that the person is part of an organized military effort against it. So, Maddow's "Minority Report" references beg the fundamental question: Are members of recognized terrorist groups combatants?
