Continuing Steamtown National Historic Site's annual tradition, a steam-powered excursion is run out of Scranton, PA, in the middle of the cold snow-covered Pocono Mountain winter to Tobyhanna's Ice Harvest Festival. We follow the train as it makes its way up the hill to Tobyhanna, where a reenactment of an "Ice Harvest" takes place. The ice is then stored in the Ice House where it stays frozen even in the warmer months.

  • How did you do the HD?

  • You have to export the file as a 720p .mov file.

Also, you really should shoot the video in high definition if your going to upload HD. I shot this particular video with a Sony HDR-HC7 high definition camcorder.

  • Now THAT was a professional video! Thanks for knowing what a tripod is used for and for NOT touching the zoom control. 3254 looked and sounded just awesome! The Ice Harvest was great too. You explained very well just what the whole purpose of the trip was. Thanks and please make more!

  • Thanks for the compliments. I'm glad someone else has an eye to know when things are done right. ;)

Haha and don't worry, there will be more videos to come soon...
