Story: Baseball very similar to R.B.I. Baseball for the NES Nintendo

Pros:
Music throughout the game
Control individual runners
Noise compression gives you an idea of where the ball will drop

Cons:
Movement is much slower than the NES version
Smaller viewing area of field due to smaller Game Boy screen

Overall rating: 7.0/10

I enjoyed playing and reviewing this game. It is very similar to R.B.I Baseball for the NES Nintendo in terms of character design, field layout and game design overall. Pitches are the same, batting is the same, it's all really the same. I enjoyed that because I spent many a day playing RBI against my brothers and had some good times doing it. The thing I didn't like about this time was the slowness of the game. The characters move very slowly and the balls are thrown slowly. It doesn't give you a sense of action. Baseball doesn't really do that anyway but it at least keeps you interested. Is the game hard, yes. Is the game fun, yes. I think people want to know if it's fun and if you can handle the slowness issue then you shouldn't have a problem enjoying this title. Controls feel good in your hands are respond quickly, there isn't a feeling of lag at all in the controls. 7.0/10 because the viewing area of the field is much too small and the speed of game play is also slower than I'd really like.
