Sentenced to 6 years in 1965. Released in 1969.

suchomel was unaware that the interview was being remotely videotaped by the interviewer Claude Lanzmann's assistants in the Volkswagen bus shown at the beginning of Part 1 of the video.

  • People burn well? No sir, even the best modern crematoria with funelled flame to chest and head area of the corpse take 2+ hours a body and then it has to be pulverized to "cremains" with machine. It's an arduous and long procedure otherwise, at cremation pyres at Varanasi the corpse is never fully consumed.

Who supplied fuel: gas and ...paper (!)..did he say paper?! in such quantity!?

There's something the old bastard's not telling us.

I guess we'll never know for sure now....

  • @dharmanova

Ask anyone from Dresden how well bodies burn if you have any doubts. Keep in mind that the nazis weren't exactly concerned with providing the remains of the deceased in an urn for their next of kin the way "modern crematoria" do.

  • @lehighmark If you listen to the entire series you will see that Suchomel is not approbating any of this, he is attempting to describe it as he saw it, which is the purpose of the interview. He periodically expresses revulsion at what he is describing but does not defend it. His "feelings" are actually not the point of the interview.

I think your question is good as I have asked myself the same. I have come to this explanation, which seems the most logical to me: When the Jews arrived to the camp, they were already exhausted, sick and beaten until they had no more hope. They had already decided that death was inevitable. Parched, Hungry, sick and tired to death, coming out of a train with more than half of the people already dead, its normal to be way past trying to think out to survive and ready to welcome death,

  • The Nazis had a very perverted idea of humans and "sub" humans (wow, its not arrogant at all to decide who's human and who isn't!) If this Nazi officer is human...maybe its better not to be human

  • Sad that they'd survived so much for so long only to go up in smoke like this.

  • I hope this Nazi mofo burned in hell for his crime . Sick bastard

  • @HistorySpeaks4Itself Are u dumb or do you only pretend to be dumb? What the british (Capitalization purposely unused) threw on these innocent people where fire bombs, pure phosphorus bombs designed to kill anything that moves.

  • @dharmanova

he friggin knows better than you, he helped burning them.

  • One key might have been to go for the whipper & bite him as best you could. At least they'd have had to shoot you.

  • @fuckystoat Given the chance, would you toss a Jewish baby into the flames?

  • @stanbrekston ANOTHER FAKE JIDF CHANNEL.....
