Why do people always talk shit about EMG passives...? I thought they sounded pretty fucking good...!
-
That BC Rich is badass.

@pivetlord13 Thats the way to go:)
-
This is the only good sound test of the h4 on youtube
-
I like both pickups but this one is the tone I'm seeking.
-
After reconsidering the pups I install Crunch Lab though EMG sounds fuller but lacks the bite of the DiMarzio pups.
-
EMG sounds better.

I think I'm going with the crunch lab and liquifire. They are good set of pick ups regardless of tuning. I really want to tune to B and heard they sound heavy in any guitar

Do you have the same settings on both vids? And what are your settings? :p I also have ux1 (pod farm program)

@TheAlianOlsen Yes, I used the same preset (without changing it) on both vids. Sorry, I can't remember the settings/preset anymore. At that time, I was mainly using PodFarm, but now I'm more into IK products (Amplitube).

That was the BEST pup comparison vid i've seen yet. If you could put a Steve's Special in there, i'd have my problem solved. I'm deciding between the Steve's Special OR the Crunch Lab. Can you help me? Awesome comparison here.

@rondill65 Thank you, Ron. :) I'm sorry, I can't help you about the SS vs. CL issue.
I can just say that you have two options with the CL.
Blade facing bridge or blade facing neck. Tried both and I like the blade facing bridge option more.
Of course it also depends what kind of body wood you have. That was also kinda difficult for me,
'cause the Dimarzio samples on their homepage used guitars with different body wood than my BC Rich.
