Mongols need laws.
I will make them obey...
...even if I have to kill half of them.
Our laws will be simple.
Don't kill women or children.
Don't forget your debts.
Fight enemies to the end.
And never betray your khan.

  • @zuapax..sir..you are a toad. You are nothing. You shame all humans that live on this planet. When you leave this world. No one will miss you.

  • @kisstherain73 I am offended. Utterly sickened by your statement... Toads are adorable little creatures that serve a valuable purpose in this world.

  • BloodiestMargie, i must apologize for my earlier comment. I wish not to be rude, but in all honesty..think about the topic and what your reply post was. USA spend over 900 billion on defence each year..China comes 2nd at around 100 billion( give or take). If a true war, without political correctness bullshit. No single country can defeat USA. Iraq had the 4th largest army in the world and Russia's best equipments. Iraq fell in less than 2 weeks. And USA was holding back. Be factual.

  • @kisstherain73 You said the US is the LARGEST Empire. That is not true. You cited that they have 11 Carrier fleets. Carrier fleets are not land. SIZE of an Empire is dependent on its land holdings. This is why we say the Mongol Empire was the LARGEST land empire, despite the fact that much of that land was empty steppe or desert

  • @BloodiestMargie Actually the British Empire and its dominions had by far the largest empire ever in terms of landmass...if you are talking about largest continuous empire then yes, the short lived Mongol Empire would be the largest. If you are talking about percentage of the worlds population then the Qing dynasty in China held the most sway. Economically it is a bit of a toss up depending on how you measure it. In terms of absolute population the current PRC (China) is easily the largest ever.

  • @lundymaphone Yah, you're right. They always say "largest contiguous land empire" with the Mongols. But the British Empire had the benefit of naval technology allowing them to sail without having to hug the coast constantly, and shit-tons of guns.

  • The Best Army in the World in the Middle Age.

  • @lundymaphone

Thanks, though I wonder, has anyone taken into account what era these empires had their peak, and the standards during those times.

  • @2013branth Two people were arguing about whether the US or the Mongols were the largest empire ever, I corrected them as sen in "uploader comments". Two (other) different people who are mongol "fanboys" stepped in and have attempted to downplay the existence of the British Empire, I assume it is to elevate the status of the Mongol Empire in some childish "which empire was best" argument. I have not commented on a Mongol vs UK debate, simply correcting misinformation about the British Empire.

  • @aa3gunner The British Empire at it's height controlled 1/3 of the earths landmass (and had de-facto control over the oceans) and 1/4 of the population, it was hardly "empty landmasses and territories where no one lived". And one thing the mongols certainly did not due was "subdue entire civilizations and cultures." A more accurate statement would be that as their short lived empire disintegrated due to a tribal political system, they adopted said cultures.

  • @lundymaphone The British "empire" was mostly made up of empty landmasses and territories where no one lived. Australia?? Canada?? You've got to be kidding me. British empire ain't squat. When the Mongols conquered they subdued entire nations, kingdoms, civilizations, and cultures all with the brilliant use of tactics, strategy, politics, and weapons.

  • Is it just me, or did this battle feel anticlimatic?

Btw, what's with the argument about superpowers? This is a movie area.

  • @bloodiestMargie Indeed toads are a part of this environment we all breathe and live in, but mon chere, I must defend my case... those other toads had a purpose ,a natural design, this other toad was an accident that serves no purpose whatsoever to man kind. If i offended, my apologies. Pardon moi.
