Extreme Makeover Home Edition: Louisville, KY 2010 Lampe Family. Another Louisville family is getting an Extreme Makeover: Home Edition courtesy of ABC and Elite Homes, Inc.! Watch for Patrick John Hughes (Father in the family who received a Home Makeover in 2007) celebrating this touching moment- he was really moved watching this new family receive such a wonderful gift from their community. Very cool to watch and be a part of this incredible day!


Elite Homes, Inc. is stepping up once again to build a home for a deserving family in just a week and they are getting some assistance from a local Non-Profit, YouthBuild Louisville.

Based in the Smoketown neighborhood, YouthBuild Louisville is a vocational training organization that reaches out to young adults between the ages of 18 and 24 who are under-educated and under-employed. Since its inception in 2001, YouthBuild Louisville students have donated over 137,000 hours of community service, completed 16 new or rehabilitated homes in Louisville and earned 176 high school diplomas and GED certificates.

YouthBuild Louisville will be working alongside other contactors at the site to set walls, trusses and complete some rough carpentry and framing. The build will begin when the identity of the lucky local family is announced. It will end on October 28 with the signature chant, "Driver: Move that Bus!" This will be the 12th home built during the show's eighth season and the episode will air in 2011.
