  • A mere child of 53, I've never seen this before, but I've never forgotten CLAUDE'S unmistakable voice from literally dozens of 1960s commercials for the Marx Toy company. I've always wondered who that was, and now I know. Do a video search for "by Marx" to hear Claude vividly pitching classic toys like the Big Wheel, the Electro-shot Shooting Gallery, and RockEm Sockem Robots!

  • As a 10 years old, I was in the audience to see a live performance of Super Circus at the Chicago Civic Opera House.

  • where is terry tune circus? was I dreaming this as a kid?

  • Great to see this once again and in such good quality - great job Ira! Mary Hartline - I'd forgotten all about her - amazing!!

  • I loved this show as a kid - this post brings back wonderful memories - skipper

  • @fcourt5 Yes,good old Officer Joe Bolton, swinging his night stick. Those were really special days, . Did you watch Terrytoon Circus with Clownie? Somewhere around 1964 we got all the Japenese cartoons, Astroboy , Gigantor , 8THMan , Amazing 3 , Kimba . And a big one from back then, Sandy Becker .I also remember playing with Duncan tops and yoyo's.

  • @1952kid I remember Officer Joe when he would show the Little Rascals. I was from Queens too, in Ridgewood.

  • Dear Mr. Gallen, thank you.

  • Good for you mate! I thought it was 1965 too, but of course, couldn't be sure. I loved Soupy's early 60s (first discovered him in 1961 on Sat. morning) when Clyde Adler was still on. Mid-60s, in NYC, he was on in the afternoon. Cheers - have a good week!

  • Its 1965 WNEW 5 NYC Soupy. I watched these shows way to long. The last one i remember is Officer Joe Bolton hosting Felix cartoons, outlasting most of our old hosts around 1970 or 71. Used to live in Bellerose/ Glen oaks Queens.
