  • This recording was made on a Friday because the next day I got married July 12, 1958. that's was 53 years ago, 2012 time has went by.

  • I've been listening to the great Coleman Hawkins and this Trane take of Stardust. There are a number of great tenors, but none like Coltrane.

  • Well I base this on Coltrane can use 5 to 7 note and use them in a 3 to 5 minute solo (not to say he don't use other notes) tell me who else can do that.
