I can only emphasise the earlier comment that listeners who like this version of Paddy McAloon's composition might well be blown away by his own version featured on the Prefab Sprout's album "The Gunman and other stories". I say this with no disrespect to Cher's version, and, infact, am grateful that she had the inclination to feature a Paddy MCAloon track, which is no small complement.

This is awesome.. love this song. Haven't heard it in years. Thanks for posting it. Her voice is incredible, Cher is a master at expressing emotion on ballads. I have always preferred her singing ballads.
