And, I might add, stealing tubes of toothpaste and crayons, are not going to bankrupt CVS. Pedro and anyone who assisted him in subduing Kyser, acted beyond the scope of their employment.

Kyser was wrong for stealing, and Pedro was wrong for killing.

Good for you Anita Alvarez! The felonious welfare recipient made the decision to steal and create victims. Perhaps he was encouraged by his mother and girlfriend but he was not forced. When staff attempted to detain the criminal and retrieve their property the felon made the decision to flee. When they caught up to him, the felon made the decision to resist. He portrayed himself as a thug and died like one. Give employees a raise and counceling from thier trauma.
