@fore3113 The ownership is.

@aibangmaini When a shovel is put in the ground, and I believe it will be at some point, they will have a better chance to attract UFA's. Until then, nobody wants to play in that hell hole NVMC.

@NYI914021 Dude, that team is run like the Mets are gonna be run now. Moulson was a fluke - a ninth rounder, dead in the eyes of the league, so the Isles jumped on cheap help...and he ended up being a really good player. It rarely happens that way. They're retaining their talented youth so the team remains sellable, but will never sign the talent it takes to be competitive. Tavares and Co have a few years before they become UFA. Wang figures this is the window. He has no choice.

@trulysarcastic Oh, and btw trulydon'tknowshit...you obviously had plenty of time to watch how every team in the playoffs was eliminated, since yours was playing golf. But the one team you mentioned, you managed to be wrong twice. You must light UP the message boards when you come around. Here's a guy that made a statement on the internet, was wrong, when he could have used the internet to check if he knew what the fuck he was talking about. Well played, sir - well played.

@aibangmaini I hear ya. You can only imagine how frustrating it is as a fan of NYI to see them waste all of this talent. Like I said, had they got the right owner ship 10 years ago, they would be in a good spot right now.

@NYI914021 No argument there. But that's kind of what I'm talking about, as far as "successful franchise" goes. I never once said that Tavares and company weren't good players. I just know how the Islanders operate - when they try to make a move, they fail miserably (even getting Alexei Yashin in his prime ends up being a bad move), or they make knee-jerk, reactionary trades - not unlike Esposito when he ran the Rangers. That's really what I hate about them - it's not fans like you...
Being a Canucks fan, I am not a Messier fan, but it doesn't look like he was trying to start stuff here. Blake was trying to be the 3rd man in and Messier just tried to get him out of that since fights should be one on one.

What a fuckin awful title to this video, Blake was going to jump in so what was Moose supposed to do stand and watch? Messier was never afraid to drop the mits with anyone, the guy fought McSorley on multiple occasions so don't be making it out like he is a punk.
P.S Islanders are a dog shit Franchise, PEACE!
