Dunlop's MXR team is proud to present the M77 Custom Badass Modified Overdrive. The MXR engineers took a classic overdrive circuit and then "hot-rodded" it to their own custom specifications. In keeping up with modern players' needs for extreme tonal versatility, the pedal features not only an EQ shaping tone knob but also a 100Hz knob that either cuts or boosts one of the most fundamental and pronounced frequencies found in the electric guitar. For even more tonal variety there is an additional "Bump" button which provides an alternate EQ voicing that boosts lows and mids. Overall Gain seems to be a bit less than the 78 Badass pedal in crunch mode (just an observation). The EQ options are amazing though

it proves how effective visualizations can be. with all the effects, camera angles, and all the visual work put into this, it makes it look so sick. and the sound is incredible. great job Dunlop!
