On Tuesday, October 16th, Mississauga presented the first of "A Conversation with Mississauga about Building a City for the 21st Century" featuring Stephen Lewis and Glen Murray as guest speakers.

There was some question particularly by MISSISSAUGA WATCH that certain aspects of Mississauga's population were not represented in the audience to the degree that the city's demographics might expect.

Seems Councillor Mullin had the same concern in mind when she raised the issue the next day at General Committee meeting.

MISSISSAUGA WATCH has put in a Freedom of Information request to confirm that people from "all walks of life" attended this first event as was suggested.
