@CHOWGUAI Achtung, Baby and Zooropa are the quintessential European albums, the ones that better seem to capture the changes that happened in the continent during the late 80s/early 90s. Perfect soundtrack for those times.

Achtung baby was the soundtrack for my last two years in College. Visited Russia in 1991 just in time for the Russian Coup. Watched Yeltsin climb up on a tank and declare independence from USSR. A year and a half later bought a one way ticket to Europe and spent the next 2 years working, backpacking, traveling throughout Western and Eastern Europe with the collapse of Communism as my backdrop. An eye and soul opening journey with this album as the perfect soundtrack. Good times.
