I once planned activities for a nursing home. I tried all kinds of music I thought the older people would like. the response was poor. I went home and got my Chubby Checker music and played it. from that day forward we had a rocking little nursing home.

went to a rock and roll show once and it was suppose to be a all star cavalcade. well asshole jerry lee lewis didn't show up. well they located chubby in pennsylvania or somewhere. he drove a couple of hours and made it to the show. did a great job.
