There wasn't anything about it in the manga, but in the manga, Matt only had 12 or 13 panels in the first place. It's a fangirl thing, they will see every possible pairing *has seen Light and Matsuda yaoi*

There was a lot of near-yaoi stuff between Light and L though.

I don't know the numbers... My TV's retarded and said that last week's episode (I think it's 36) was episode 41. There are 37 episodes.

I'd suggest just watching all of the ones you think it might be and hope you find it.
