D' Cuzzy - Dickov aka Lanciao Kua (Lu Kua Hamik Lanciao)

No further introduction necessary. The ultimate Hokkien cult hit of Penang - Dickov, or better known as the "Lanciao Kua", hit the streets (literally) back in the year 2000 when it was featured on a pirated LMF (LazyMuthaFucker) CD and sold at various stalls along the streets of Penang.

D' Cuzzy is the Hokkien rap pioneers consisting of Ddie and Cuzzy, both hailing from Penang. I can safely say that nearly two whole generations of Penangites (and even those who are not) have at least heard or heard about this song, and I dare say if you have not, you simply cannot call yourself a Penangite.

So here's to the Hokkien rap pioneers of Penang, who continue to inspire me and encourage me to not only pen my rhymes and make more music, but to also keep the unique Penang Hokkien dialect alive. This song is a true classic.
