I still don't think I was wrong, and I wasn't "dodging" anything.
And I'm also pretty confused as to why your fiancee and mom are pissed at you and why your stepdad laughed and what exactly your boss said you "called". Am I missing something here?
Okay! I'm pretty much done with this argument too, it was pretty long and slightly uneccessary (I'll take the blame for that), so, live long and have a nice wedding!

Hispanic, that makes a little more sense. You are liberal, proud of it, and you probably don't even know what it means. You identify with a "group" and adopt their perspectives.
You couldn't guess....

Grungie, it has nothing to do with opinionated. It has everything to do with my previous comment. Nice try on the dodge. You were in the wrong.
One more comment after this, and I'm done trolling you. I want you to know: my Fiancee is pissed at me, my mother is pissed at me, my step-dad called me and laughed his ass off, and my boss told me unprofessional but he even said I called it.

You mean when I said "women appreciate good music too"? That wasn't me speaking for ALL women, I know we all don't. Or seeing as "good" is an opinion everyone likes good music. But if that's what you were refrencing, you're reading too deeply into the comment.
I said "I'm a woman, not a lion". Lions roar. That's why I said "lion". I could have said "lioness", but lion came to mind first.
This is not a discussion about winning, we both are obviously pretty opinionated. That's about it.
-
It was escalated in the fact you called it something that it wasn't. Some people will call that exaggeration.
You could be a Lion. After extensive hormone therapy for a few years then a complicated surgery. Sure.
My comment was unprovoked, just like your attack on zippy was. We are back to my original comment, which is not sexist.
Interesting how you speak for all women. My own fiancee doesn't like rock and my mom prefers country.....I still win.

Let's see, yes, I'm under the age of 22, I have a part-time job, I am Hispanic, and I am liberal! So I'll give you some points for guessing some things about me correctly. Got any other guesses?
I'd try for you but you fit lots of descriptions that I can think of at the moment.

I do know about the feminist movement, and I've heard the comment, I just hate it.
And I could be a lion! They roar just as well as their female version do too.
My comment wasn't full of rage. I've seen comments like "FUCK YOU FUCKING SEXIST ASSHOLE GO TO HELL FUCK YOU!" That would be escalating the issue. All i said was that the comment was sexist (which I've already explained my thoughts to zippyman818 about) and then addressed people in general on views of women's taste in music.

I have already made assumptions that i shouldnt have without proof, but to "troll" some more: female, likely under the age of 22 (im guessing teen), probably white (caucasian for you politically correct readers), and jobless, most likely liberal/progressive.

No, it is not sexist. Try to make it something more than what it really is please.
You are not familiar with the quote? So you dont know about the feminist movement either.
That would be lioness also.
Maybe a lot of you dont. Statistics (and yourself prove otherwise) show that women tend to escalate issues. I could reference sources but that requires work and myself (being the typical male), am too lazy to show effort.

Music evokes strong emotions. Comments about music evokes some of the same emotions. In the simplism of those three lines to a childish joke, one may ascribe more meaning than was intended. I did not mean to sully your enjoyment of a great song or promote mysogeny, for that I apologize.

sexist comment if I ever saw one, I'm a die hard classics fan and I'm a woman. I mean, for fucks sake, will people acknowledge that women appreciate good music too?!

Ladies and gentlemen. While I personally disagree with sexism, I don't think zippyman818 meant any harm in his comment. I believe it was merely a setup to use the line "burn the witch", and thereby get his underlying point across. Let's all just calm down, sit back and enjoy the amazing music.
