So the only thing I really can't do is dehydrate a cooked hamburger? To thick to get all the moisture out? I see a lot of potential and only a few things u won't be able to do. I live my hamburgers but at least I can dehydrate it to put in sauces and such. Thank you.

@oaney try spraying the banana chips with pure lemon juice before you dehydrate them. checkout deydrate2store on youtube, she does awesome demo's on tons of fruits and vegies.
can I use the more flavorfull hamburger 80/20?

You can but you will have to remove all the 20% fat for it to keep from spoiling

Do you have to cook the food before dehydrating it? or can you put raw food in there. I would think raw food would cook properly once you put it into a cooking pot... What would happen if i didnt cook the broccoli first, and tried cooking with it on the trail?
ALso another quic question that came to mind regarding other foods I could use: Could I make my own banana chips, and the like, using this method? how about raisins by putting regular grapes in there?

You can cook it from raw on the trail but it would take a long time and use a lot of fuel. Things like grapes and bananas will work but don't come out like the stuff from the store
