Anarchitecture is LIVE - http://beltainesfire.bandcamp.com/album/anarchitecture - with the finished band version of Bailout. Album releases August 31, pre-order now available.

my response to Bush's $700 bank bailout and the billions more being pumped into corporate america by Obama's stimulus package while ordinary people lose their jobs and homes. the finished version is gonna be on our next album but i didn't want to wait a year to put it out for ya'll so here it is. hella raw, recorded in 1 take, live in my living room.

If you're as pissed as I am that banks that finance the rape of our planet and carmakers that have already outsourced most of their best paying jobs to other countries get billions in corporate welfare while the rest of us go broke, maybe it's time we organize and DO SOMETHING about it.

  • punk fuckin rock

  • PR > FPTP (make every voice worth something)

  • @fragitza And when it is free of govt, firms will be far smaller, more numerous, and less hierarchical. It won't be very capitalistic at all.

  • @vaguelyhumanoid or crony capitalism.

I completely agree. The state completely got rid off the profit/loss system when they bailed out the banks in the UK. From a free market to exist in the first place, it needs to be free of govt.

  • @fragitza You mean corporatocracy.

And big business as we know it would not exist without the state. Through subsidies, artificial scarcity, limited liability and corporate personhood, large businesses are privileged over smaller ones and hierarchical firms are privileged over coops, etc. A free market would radically differ from any historical form of capitalism.

  • @vaguelyhumanoid Corporate interests contain OUR interests. Corporations work for us, they serve us so in answer to your question, no I don't think it's problematic. Having if you're refering to corpratism, then yes it is a problem.

  • @fragitza You don't think corporate interests are problematic in our society?

  • @vaguelyhumanoid That still makes no difference.

  • @fragitza They don't mean literally the capital goods themselves. They mean the wealthy, ie the holders of capital. It's a metonym.
