  • It would be more Baltimore if the drivers had to stop in Fells and do a bar crawl between laps.

  • Weekend forecast: 100% chance of crashes.

  • That is an insanely difficult looking track. Good luck IndyCar with your safety record.

  • dayum, that chicane section is srs bzns

  • No its in baltimore city maryland...

  • is baltimore this city in le france ?

  • there was no dirt in the baseball field

  • @bassplayeroceanside Worked downtown through 08 and saw the addicts dancing in/directing traffic on MLK. Second only to SF for HIV. Yeah, keep on believing. B'More needs more believers.

  • 180 yeah right the chicane ruined that.

  • I was there (I live in Baltimore County) Sat and Sun. SO much fun. My first Indy race, and man was it fun!!! The cars were fast, loud and just plain awesome to watch. Got some great pictures too. I was very pleased with how well Baltimore seemed to behave, and the TV broadcast really made the city look great. Just an all-around positive experience; for the fans, locals, and the city itself. Can't wait til next year!!!

  • @chrisdraper2007 Surprisingly fewer crashes than expected. The only major collision was during Sunday's morning practice. Tony Kanaan lost brakes at 170mph, and ran up over Helio Castroneves' right, rear. TK flew over Helio's car, bumped a wall, and came to a sudden stop in some tires. Helio jumped out of his car to check on Tony. Both drivers were fine, TK apologized, and both drivers actually finished the race later that day, albeit in back-up cars.

  • @MrKhille You obviously havent been there. Your 1980's view of the old Baltimore stereotype just makes you look untraveled, and kinda behind the times. Now, go back to your government-sanctioned pharmaceutical-pill popping habit. Because those drugs are okay.
