Definitely real "old time hockey"! These players really earned their pay, not like today's overpaid pansies. And the NHL wants to make it even more pansied. Let the men play hocky like it was for 100+ years before Betman!

One year Durbano missed like 50 games because of mononucleosis, and his first game back against the Atlanta Flames at the Omni he went nuts and after getting kicked out of the game, he came running back onto the ice from the locker room, in his socks, and attacked Flames goalie Phil Myre. Durbano was covered in blood from when Myre had split his head open with his goal stick earlier. That guy was one of the most entertaining players in NHL history. Too bad the league is a bunch of pussies now

@clebo99 Do you mean the Blues/Atlanta game? If so, I am almost certain no video of that exists, unfortunately. I just remember watching it on TV on a Friday night circa 1973. One Sunday afternoon at Philly Spectrum, Durbano fought Dave Schultz in the first period, then in the 3rd period the Flyers trainer was yapping at him so Durby speared him in the mouth and sliced his lip open. Bob Kelly jumped off the Flyer bench and pounded Durby into the ice. No video that I know of of that either.

I love it how it wasn't a "real brawl" until they started fighting under the stands.
