I borrowed a CEN GST 7.7 tuned pipe to see how well it would work with the new HPI K5.9 engine that I have installed in my Savage X SS. All I can say is WOW! The CEN pipe outperforms the stock HPI polished pipe (included with the X SS and XL trucks)in every way! The K5.9 had better bottom end punch and it also hit higher peak RPM's. It ran cooler with the CEN pipe also, making it easier to tune.

Ok just wanted to add that I installed CEN pipe yesterday on my 5.9 and WOW amazing difference. I left the cone in but took baffle out for max performance. You notice the difference before you touch the throttle (Alot deeper, cooler starting engine). I have also tried the RD Logics quad stinger, stock 5.9 polished, ofna 086. I will stick to the CEN.

I wouldn't recommend it unless you have upgraded to the newer 4 gear differentials. You could always upgrade them after they break though.

hi there ive tested every pipe including ofna 086 , jammin, cen pipe but please try the LRT pipe its totally brill.

i think it is perfectly. and i gotta a question, what is the tires name??? on my xl, there are goliath tires but these are more beautiful... :))

They are Pro-line "Big Joe" tires on Axial 8 spoke oversize wheels.
