Shasta is a female black Labrador Retriever (7 weeks old here). I started clicker training her 5 days ago and she is learning SO quickly. Commands she knows: sit, down, wait, roll, high five, kennel, go to bed, leave it, and ring the bells to go outside.

  • @leanne963 we love clicker training! Shasta is now almost 6 months old... but when she was that age, play biting was an issue! It felt like all I said was "no bite" and "easy". What seemed to work the best (and still comes in handy) was teaching her that playing with our hands is boring. Pairing a firm "no bite" with a closed fist seemed to make all the difference. Then she could take all her energy out on a toy right afterwards.

  • Wow such a good girl!! I just got a 7 week old Golden lab and trying to get her out of the habit of mouthing/biting so gonna get a clicker!!

  • Nevermind I finished the video and answered my own question! loved the video...smart pup

  • What do you treat your puppy with? Is this just her normal puppy food pieces or actual small treats?

  • Dana

Could you please tag Diamond M Labradors in this video. It will not show up with just diamond labradors

  • Wow your doing GREAT with her. Everyone always tells me that our puppies are very Smart and learn fast. Great to see it for myself, Thanks
