The tree that fell about 4:30 went 90 degrees or better and way down the hill from where the facecut was aimed.

That tree at 5:16 was clean. Getting the tree to twirl was a neat trick.

I retired 3 yrs ago but before that I and some other "OREGON" men would definitely show you idaho boy`s something. Idaho aint the only state with top notch fallers.

Good ground, good wood, Good sharp saw,Most important ,A Idaho Sawyer, No way to top that ! Idaho turns out most of the best hands in the country. and me ? from 1962 untill I retired a couple years ago, spent my time smiling my way to the next tree . so these boys not only look smooth they are dam good. Rember to look up and stay alive.

sabbie7...have you ever used a paper product before (books, paper towels, checkbook, etc.)?!?! Trees provide materials for us to use and logging is a practice that harvests trees for human purposes. It is a part of life and will be for years to come.

Lots of practice and time in the woods equals a better sawyer...one of these guys still work\s in the woods and everyone I know says that he is one of the best sawyers around cool stuff really.

that first saw sounds more like a 2100 than a 288..

I guess the first saw was a 2100 I later found out and the rest were 288's and the last was a 064
