I just love this song sooo peaceful and I love the anime its so good and it gave me a better understanding for how amazing music can really be cause now a days u hear all this hip hop,rap,and stuff u forget how nice it would be just to listen to this and hear what the violin,piano,cello,flute,trump­et,and clarinet and all these other instruments can really be so ya I just love this song and this series-3

@2RandomGirls Your words are very much true. Speaking as an anime/manga creator, using the Canon was a very smart choice because of how the song is used in weddings as well as its familiarity.

@julienlego Well maybe it is a bit childish... But most viewers of La Corda D'oro don't know much about classical music. Because this is such a popular and well known song, it strikes a nostalgic chord in the hearts of the viewers. You have to remember, this anime is aimed at teenage girls. Of course they're going to use a song famous for being played at weddings.

@2RandomGirls In my view, the decision to use this piece in the anime is very cliche and childish. There are plenty of songs that they could have chosen, such as Elgar's Salut D'Amour. Beethoven wrote some fabulous piano and violin duets, like Spring Sonata.
