The rear end is off a Honda CBR600 that has been modified to fit in the original factory frame...from what i remember it took my friend some serious work to get the swinging arm to fit.

The gas caps are virtually unobtainable now and my friend made the reed intakes by hand.

It certainly is a stunning looking machine, my mate has owned it for the last 20 odd years, he decided to get it out and give it a face lift...and what a job hes done eh.

The rattling you can hear isn't coming from the engine it's the baffles in the cans.

very nice machine...but it's not a good idea to run the engine without air intake filters = rapid engine wear....also the final drive chain is missing

Yeah it's not gonna be run without filters, we was just firing it up so the people on our website that have seen this bike built from the ground up could hear it. Also the drive chain is missing because we're still waiting for the off set front sprocket to turn up from the machining company... Cheers.

@H2RIK Take a closer look at that rear swing arm. I don't believe that the mono shock design was out when this bike was in production. Lower center of gravity and reduced unsprung weight, I like it.

I wonder if the rims are any kind of special alloy, or just anodized aluminum?
