  • @HotHeadCJ Not sure, can't be too serious as I've been driving the truck for 12 months with the air locker not working. Likely an activation issue. Thanks.

  • Hey great video, what type of lockers are did you have installed?

  • @andyoopoo ARB AirLocker in the rear, although it has since failed. I am yet to investigate the cause. Thanks for watching.

  • @vk2afl arbs fail!?

  • @HotHeadCJ I fixed the rear diff lock this weekend just gone, there was oil in the line which is a common problem from what I've heard. But I also found the brass union on the diff housing was loose, worse than finger tight. Another triumph for Macquarie 4x4! Anyway, the diff lock works great now - it was great to head off road and use it again, see my other videos.

  • I thought she was raised, but when it passes you see the standard Shocks!! Class UP TOYOTA :-)

  • Not quite sure what you mean. My vehicle has Bilstien shocks and ARB Old Man Emu Springs and it has been lifted. Cheers.

  • buy a toyota leave the tools at home. buy a LR you better tow a trailer full!!!

  • They are both excellent. They are both comfortable, strong and capable.

If you want an all-out off roader, buy a Patrol. If you want on road highway comfort and good offroad ability and reliability go for the Prado.

To solve the entire problem buy a big landcruiser.

The Prado has limited wheel articulation in the front end due to it having independent suspension. Not much can be done. The patrol however has many suspension upgrade options.

At the end of the day they are both good. :o)
