  • I think it's a great song, well worthy of anything Sweet recorded post-Connolly. Perhaps Andy, Steve and Mick realised their own writing talents wouldn't suffice for the 1980s?

  • @dvfmliv

Steve Priest hated it. Thats why they never released it either as a single, on an album, or even as a b side.

  • Whos in lead vocal??

    Mick Tucker or Steve Priest??

  • Its Steve Priest. He hated it lol.

  • This song was originally given to Sweet to record as Yesterdays Hero. Steve said they hated it and turned it down so the writers gave it to the Babys and they rewrote it and had a hit with Back On My Feet again.

  • Not bad but they really lost a lot when Brian departed. This would have been much better if Brian had sung it.

  • song its very good but....Brian would made it waaay better.

  • Dominic Bugatti Frank Musker and john waite are credited with the song "Back On My Feet Again" off the Union Jacks album released in 1980. It was 35 on the Billboard top 100 from memory. waite rewrote the lyrics as far as I can understand.

  • @Dyynamo yeah, i can agree on that, but i can see why steve hated THIS song lol

  • @kittiesgomow33

I don't think its that bad a song to be fair. They have released worse songs, and some of those songs have been hits lol.

  • @Dyynamo i can understand why....

  • @Dyynamo no offence, but i hate it as well.. :$

  • Steve Priest was right

  • Reminds me of Rick Springfield

    DonT talk to strangers

  • The babys or sweet? who had this first? Copyright infringement on someone. Look up the babys ;back on my feet again . And compare? You tell me?

  • @dvfmliv No way. They lost confidence in their own abilities and that's why they started singing other people's songs again. But they really needed was the right vehicle and that would have meant getting Brian back.
