285klm/h@8500rpm with a 4.7FD that's 178mph.
Had another 150 rpm to rev limiter but prefer to release the pedal and not risk a fuel cut off.

Is that because fuel cut would be to sudden and might upset the balance of the car at that speed? or just a risk to the motor?
