I've gotten several questions about how Gabe and I handle the custody matter with Lilia so I decided I'd address the issue and let you guys know how our schedule is as of right now.

Anyone can have a child and be a father, but it takes a real man to stick around and be there for her to be considered a daddy. seeing your child 4 times a month and giving 150 dollars to support the child doesn't make him a dad. From the sound of it he's an asshole.

@jarax44 exactly. It *has* to be in the best interest of the child or else they are hte ones who pay for it. Jessica you say you would never keep Lillia from Gabe, but surely by not giving 50/50 custody that is keeping her from him? If he wants that custody, that means that he wants to form a relationship with her...i know you said he's hardly seen her in the past, but maybe he's had a change of heart.

i obviously don't know your situation...but surely if he wants 50% custody that's a good thing? That means that Gabe wants to spend as much time with Lillia as he can right? Might help him be a more involved Dad, which is what you wanted. Just curious

Can you update what happened with this and talk about what your plans are with Kaden and Kyson as far as custody goes?

never give up fighing for child support. i havebeen going to court for it for over 5 years and he has only paid one month and that was took from his paycheck, at least he wants to see he sometimes. my daughters dad never wants to see her. his gf has even said that she needs to fall off the face of the earth and disappear. you never know how tough and strong you have to be until you have to fight for what is best for your baby

I wish you luck as this all continues. I know by now, you two will have worked out details, but I know that changes over time...both from my experience as a kid from a divorced home and my boyfriend's current ordeal with his ex.
