@popasmuerf It's pretty clear that her besting SM can be counted as part of her regular capability - especially when she did so while he was in a berserking rage and trying to kill her.
Also, your style argument isn't based on logic. You have some overblown, self-aggrandizing mess in its place. Mixed Martial Arts is just that - and Batman is DC's embodiment of the concept. He takes the most effective elements of multiple styles and combines them however experience deems most effective.
@tenou213 Um..no...that's bullshit and you know it. That's like claiming that Spider-man is a cosmic-level player because he once possessed the Uni-Power. Characters powers and limits are defined by what they manage to pull off on the average..not deus ex machina bullshit that writers(DCU especially guilty of) arbitrarily pull out of their asses. And no Bat man is not a MMA'st no matter how bad you want him to be.
@popasmuerf Why are you...? This -takes place- in DCAU. In canon, WW is even stronger - each hero's abilities naturally being defined by their top achievements. In the season one fight, superman clearly fights back for quite a bit. And why do you keep declaring Batman's "main style"? I'll put it very, very simply for you: Batman wins. He uses a fuckton of different elements from combat to strategy - including martial arts styles. He's basically an MMA fighter with far more up his sleeve.
@tenou213 The DCAU is not cannon. I think you know that....and that wasn't a slug fest in season one. It was Superman not figthing back..and it took several blows to wear him out. Again..Batman's main style is Ninjutsu...which is basically the laughing stock of martial arts...who am I to question Ninjutsus fighting effectiveness ? I box and practice judo...for like 10 years...that's how.
@popasmuerf 1) Kryptonian levels are also written differently. In the DCAU universe, WW and SM are presented as being about even since that slugout they had in season one. 2) Batman's mixed his own style from multiple sources and won millions of them - who are you to question that? He's studied from the greatest fighters in the world, including a heavyweight boxing world champ. 3) Superman still won - and he didn't do it because he was stronger - according to what you seem to think.
@tenou213 1. Her strength class varies wildly depending on who is doing the writing...some have considered her below Kryptonian to being equal to Kryptonian, 2.) I am sorry but Bat Man practices freakin "Ninjutsu"..what he says does not concern me in the least...3.) Mongul is stronger and more durable than Super Man. That is all that really needs to be said.
@popasmuerf I'm going to say you're wrong in the basic combat department. See, there are two points. 1) WW can very definitely hit hard enough to hurt Mongul since she's in his strength class. 2) She's acknowledged as the best melee fighter on the planet - by Batman no less. In this sequence, all she does is punch like a drunken sailor. Of course there was onvious and derived dramatic intent from the writer - and that this is at all obvious is a sign of poor writing.

@tenou213 Superman is supposed to win...he is the good guy. I hardly think that relying on a predetermined outcome bolsters your case.
