Hello, how much ohm has your primary of coil?

This is very interesting!

I like the idea of moving the earth-ground around. I tried putting GROUND on the output of the coil in the bodkins/bedini curcuit and the advantage there is that you can touch the HOT of the coil and not get zapped since it is ground relative .. yet all still works.

Thank You for posting this..I am still scratching my head why this circuit acts this way..

Yes, you're right, the Earth and a human give off the same energy. Plus, we, and the Earth, have a bit of resistance in us as well. That is why some equipment will not run unless it is grounded. I came across a digital 220VAC dryer control that ran on 110VAC and when you would push it to go into the kfluf cycle, it would click the relay, but than click back off about a second later. It turns out that it REQUIRES ground to operate properly. Also worked by touching the ground pin to your skin.

actually i did this the other day (read above) and it appears that Earth is an AC current. same frequency as a human. tested this on an amp... it seems that humans and the earth itself runs on radiant energy
Looks to me like you are simply building a tank circuit, hence less power is required as resonance is approached. The earth ground is a virtual ground being that there is no reflection path.
There is a noticable change in frequency when the ground is connected. This seems very much like a tank circuit. I'd bet that a simple cap of proper values would produce the same result.
I see no reason to believe that this is anything but resonant action *tank circuit*

434F503E31----Check out Aromaz2012. This was his idea. He has posted a whole video series about what is happening here.

I love the simplicity of this circuit, sure beats frying the 555 timers!.. I have 10 transistors on order :)

This is about as simply as it gets. Today I took away 2 of the transistor and it still ran.

LId, Did you maintain the 2n222 and the darlington pair? IF not, what remained? Thks, LO

LoneOarman----I did all of this along time ago but as I remember this circuit diminished down to just a two transistor Darlington pair of either a coulpe of 2N2222s, 2N3055s. or a combination of both.
